BLAZE DESTROYS 50% OF OUR STOCK

It is with great sadness and shock that we have to report that a massive fire has destroyed Shurgard storage in Croydon. The fire started on a new year's eve we will never forget at 7.45pm. The fire raged for 12 to 14 hours and it took 120 fire fighters and 20 fire engines to control the blaze. EVERYTHING has been destroyed within the storage facility and we have lost around 50% of our stock. It will make things very hard for us, but we have to keep going,

the cause is as yet not known, but 2 men were arrested on charges of arson, one has subsequently been released with no further charges. It goes without saying we are really devastated.
